My first post contributing to the photosharing section on macro (i play the macro game bit)

C&C welcome, especially regards to framing, the original has a lot more of the legs and the eyes were centered.

EDIT: I was climbing up the wall to take this image - is the lighting annoying? The flash mounted normally w/o any diffuser.

Nice shot. I would like to see more of the spider or crop the top and lighten the head a little bit. Welcome to the macro section.

It's facinating how different they look in Macro... this one was a big one around 10cm (4") foot tip to tip when I shot her in the dining room. We don't need to chase big spiders outside in OZ :)

They are the quickest things I've ever seen, they move much quicker than a mouse and they scare the stuffing out of me when they move like that lol

I'll post a full frame soon.

Scary maybe but harmless.. i think all aussies will have had one of these in their house and/or car at some point!
