I have a gig Kingston and a 256MB that I use in my PnS. I brought both to my last (and first ;)) gig.

I'm planning to pick up another gig and maybe a specialised device like the PD70X. Not as backup though, only to trasfer the files from the CF card so I can reformat and reuse the CF cards.

Couple of 1GB cards, and a 512. Backup is laptop, external storage and DVD, and maybe the other PC on the network (backups to backups).

Cool, I did not know you could have multiple choice polls!

Anyway:
1: 4 x 1 GB + 1 x 512 MB + 1 x 256 MB Sandisk Ultra II, then a few older/slower 256 MB cards.
2: Guess that would be "lots" then. :D
3: Laptop mainly, drooling over the Epson 2000.

To answer parts 1 & 2. Three 1GB UltraII cards unless I borrow and extra one from the wife. :-)
I am working on part 3. Nothing yet.

Is backup like a P2000 or X'S Drive, or the DVD/Disk backup at home? I asuumed the first for now, hence why I only carry two cards, the first in the camera, the second to use whilst the first is full and downloading to the X'S Drive.

4 x 2 GB + 6 x 1 GB = 14 GB for every outing. ...and a laptop (only for overnight trips though).

I only use 512 cards, and have 9 of them I carry them in my case. I used them alot when I had the 1D. Now I use the PhaseOne and directly shoot into the laptop. It takes 30 mb images that eat up cards too quickly. Only time I will use the cards if I am doing some outdoor work.

I have an 8mb card, too. I use it for my Quicken backups. :D

I've got 3 or 4 8mb cards around somewhere. They came with some powershot A10 and A20 cameras I'd bought for a job several years ago. Don't think they ever made it out their little plastic bags. :)

6x512MB, 1x1GB, laptop - about 10 GB free space. If I had to, I suppose I could burn CD-Rs with the laptop too, though I don't until I get home.

4 GB MD, 2x1GB MD, 2x2GB ultra II, 2x1GB Ultra II, 1 GB Kingston, couple of 512 MB, couple of 256 MB, some smaller (16, 32, 40, 64, 96 MB) ones. Oh, and 8, 16, 64 and 512 MB SD for the ZR70. Laptop and Flashtrax and Addonics MFR for backup (and the card doesn't get cleared until it's on all of them). But the backups stay at the base, not in the bag, except maybe the Flashtrax.
