^You need to get a MK IV bud! :)

Yeah, yeah, yeah... :(

Trouble is, nobody wants a 40D or a 5DC anymore.

Glad someone's enjoying it. I've got a horrible case of "driver's butt" right now and I want to get home!! :(

Sorry we missed each other Chet. It was very hard for me to keep up with things here while I was in OSH. No web and spotty 3G meant all I had was an iPad for comms.

We'll have to work on a more concrete meet up for next year.

It's all good, I didn't go. Once again it's on my list for next year.

Beauteous shots, Jay. Can't wait to see the rest.

Did you get any shots of the Jack Roush debacle?

Thanks Chief. I did not get any shots of Jack's ignominious arrival. We were off the flight line by then trying to wrangle a heard of photographers off to dinner.

BTW, verrrrry cool new Avi..!

Beauty and the Beasts

Nice. Are those Christian Eagles or Pitts'?

Yeah, yeah, yeah... :(

Trouble is, nobody wants a 40D or a 5DC anymore.

I might be interested in the 5D if you gave me a deal. I already have two 40Ds. Don't think I need another...

I'm going to end up with a little bit of "driver's butt" next month. I'm going up to the Monterey area for my 45 year high school reunion and I'm driving. I'm glad it can be done in one day, though. I don't envy you your drive up and back.

I'd be interested in working out some kind of car pool/expense sharing arrangement for Oshkosh next year.

Eagles modified to single seaters.

Duly noted...

Too soon to say for sure if I'll be going next year. Would certainly like to but now that I've tasted the Media side, I won't go any other way.

I could probably score a credential myself... Even though I'm currently not doing much for them, I'm still maintaining my contacts with Airport Journals.

We just got our first iPOD about a month ago and iTunes isn't high up on my list of approved software! ;) I was going to use it on my photo machine so that I would get more familiar with it, but in this case it is Windows that "just works". ;)

Yep, Microsoft does get some things right. :)

Really, the entire Server line is incredible. I say that from extensive experience with Linux, BSD, and Windows - for anything other than a PHP/Python/Perl web server, I will hands down run Windows Server.

Big, mission critical applicaion? .NET for client code, SQL Server 2008 for database, ASP.NET MVC for web frontend, Windows Clustering or VMWare HA for redundancy. Nothing performs even remotely as well.

I may know a few people who would be interested, let me know what you're asking and I'll pass it along.
