It doesn't seem to have the really nasty distortion some panos have. I can tell it's there, but because it's a landscape it doesn't really show as much as say the middle of a city. Thanks. It took me a while, but I finally got something I was happy with. I'm sure if I had taken more time shooting I would have had less time processing. I didn't know you were in the market for a new one. I've found that I do all of my processing on my laptop, and my old one was really bought more for mobile gaming and kinda drags a bit in LR. The desktop's just inconvenient for all of the random places I work on photo stuff. I can't lug it around. I have a ThinkPad W700ds on the way. Core 2 Quad Q9000, 8GB DDR3-1066, Quadro FX 3700/1GB, twin 500GB drives (raid 0 since I back up off site twice daily) built in Wacom tablet, PCI-e CF reader, Pantone color sensor, pull out 10.6" secondary display... The whole 9 yards! I won't have to replace this thing for a very long time.
