They are saying we could have a break as early as Wednesday....I'll believe it when I feel it.

Same here! Although we put up some tint on our dining room window and it has helped a TON!!! The afternoon sun would come right in through this window and heat up the family room and dining room so bad it would take until about 9 pm to get back down. Now we get back down around 7.

Summer finally remembered this is the desert. Two days in a row over 100F now, and it'll probably stay that way for a few months... At least it's only 16% humidity.

The humidity here is significantly higher....feels like stepping into a swamp when you go out the door.

Skipped shooting a baseball game over the weekend due to the 110 degree heat index. My equipment could stand the heat, but I couldn't. Glad I wasn't one of the players.

I just turned off the ac's here. It's 75 now but feeling like it's 70.

The hear finally abated here as well. First time I've had the house opened up in 2 weeks. A comfy 80 and not to humid.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Can't go Mach 2 nor turn in a Dogfight but no less soul stirring...

Georgous tri-motor. We had one flying around here the other day. I snapped a few pics but nothing as close as yours. I just snapped them because I wasn't sure that's what it was.

It is currently 94 slap you in the face degrees in the mountains....I'm guessing you need to be up beyond 4000 before you start feeling any relief.

Condo's right at 4000 ft. Ray's said (external link) high for Sugar at the Lodge was 81. And we're at about the same elevation as the lodge. We pull in Thursday.

I have a problem. My AC in the car just died. Driving to work in this heat really stinks! :(
Oh well. Gotta have it fixed.

The Wednesday forecast looks encouraging.
