Guess I should have asked if I can play through...

Holy Moo it's raining like hell here right now. Really, really odd weather.

Must be that Glow Ball warming.

That's something, Jenn -- you were talking about the cold over the weekend too and here it's all nice, not warm as much as mid-'60s pleasant and not cold at night.

Golf has killed many parties.

Unless you're Tiger Woods, then it helps start them!

So now I've killed the thread twice today. Ugh!

I need to vent a little!

So my shutter decided to fail on me this past weekend. Normally not a big deal, but I was on day two of Team Portraits. I didn't realize I was having issues until around 11 am and the problem appears to have started around 8:45 am, so I have about 6 teams that have problems. Now, I take multiples of each kid and not all the photos were affected, but I may have to take some pictures over again if I don't have one that I can use for each kid. Man this sucks! I guess I need to chimp more often. Once I get my settings dialed in I just shoot. :o

Thanks Julian. Maybe I can swing by and borrow your stuff for a while. ;)

Thanks Jen!

On another note I tried CPS to see if I could get some loaner gear for an airshow in a couple of weeks. They have no MKIVs or long lenses due to football and baseball playoffs. Figures!

Mike, I was going to offer you some gear, but Julian has a much nicer selection!

I asked CPS if they had any 7Ds or any lenses over 300mm, but haven't heard back on that request yet. I can make do with my 70-200 plus TC and 30D, but man will I miss the 1DMKII's AF! There is a chance I will get it back before the air show, since CPS is 3 days after payment. It should be there on Thursday of this week and should hopefully ship out no later than Thursday of next week with overnight back to me so I should have it by Friday (fingers crossed - man it is hard to type like this!).

BTW looks like LR3s adjustment brush is helping fix some of the messed up photos and doing a pretty good job! It just takes a little extra time for each photo.
