Aussie Dollar has just about hit parity with the US Dollar. Watch all the imports start to roll in. Problem is we still pay tax on if it's over $1k so your prices have to be a lot cheaper to make it worth while to import.

Well it's early in the morning, I woke up, and my laptop is sitting here. So, for some little amount of time, Moo all!

Good morning Tuppers. Nice fall shots Dan. I'm envious. Looks like we are going to go right from green to nothing again this year and skip the color. Everything here is still summer like with a hint of color but some trees are just turning brown and green leaves are falling.

We are getting some nice house decorations though for Halloween.

Nice decorations at those houses JJ. I've always wanted to do a big setup for Halloween, but never have. When I was in my teens there was a house that had this slick setup. The garage door was open and they had white sheets that completely covered the area. They had like 30 pumpkins all carved differently and at different heights in the garage and "Jason" was watching over them. If you got close to the garage he would stand up and point to the street for you to back away.

There was a walkway that lead from the driveway to the front door. Along the walkway you passed 3 windows, but there was no glass in the windows, it had been removed. In each room it was dark except for a light that shined on another character. One of them was Michael Meyers, one was Freddy and the other was the Texas Chainsaw Massacre guy and he had a real chainsaw sitting next to him.

The walkway had fog covering it, music played from the trees in the front yard, which also had tombstones and bones throughout. At the door, which stayed open, you were greeted by a witch who passed out candy.

This house would have 50 people standing in the street watching. It was awesome!

Halloween has been getting bigger in this area. Not so many trick and treat-ers, more parties, but many houses are not putting up lights and decorations. It's fun.

My brother in law runs a Burger joint just near the Gabba. If you go to the Cricket you should stop in and eat there. His food is far better then what you get in the ground. As well as the regular stuff he has Lamb & Kangaroo burgers.

I'll deffo try it out :D

Discount for knowing you? :D:D

Lovely warm colours, Dan!

midnight moooo, woken at 12:30 by torrential rain. checked back drains to make sure no blockages - all good. But water backed up higher than the drains and against the house. Net result water into my study and a few novels on the floor lost to the wet. Rain has slightly eased now so the drains are coping again. My guess is 2-3" in 30min.... Now back to bed again.

Yikes!! Sorry to hear that. We have had a few rains like that as well. One night we had 19 inches of rain. Our house became a island as water was everywhere. Last year we have a 6" rain. This is the result.
