Howdy Moo! Are we still sharing autumn stuff or does someone have a fresh topic?

My autumn is yet to start. Leaves just starting to show color but barely.

Autumn might have to be a recurring theme over the next month or so. ;)

colours here are starting to colour up, but very slowly. This weekend to upstate NY we go. On the way back, a hike in the adirondacks, and i may take a detour drive via stowe & smuggler's notch...

Well, then, it's mid-morning here, Greg! Get to bed!

Yikes!! Sorry to hear that. We have had a few rains like that as well. One night we had 19 inches of rain. Our house became a island as water was everywhere. Last year we have a 6" rain. This is the result.

Harm wrote in post #11051959 (external link)
plenty of water!!

how are the reservoirs and water restrictions, Greg? (question for when you wake up)

Morning all. Took me an hour or so to get back to sleep but now in the morning all seems ok. My flood wasn't too bad and I was able to mop it up with a few towels.

JJ that is a lot of water. My back yard looked like that the height of the downpour. The problem is that it drains towards the house. If the drains keep up there is no problem. It'd be very expensive to redo all of this.

Harm, our water storage is close to 100%. Trouble is we spent millions on a desalination plant that doesn't need to run be needs to be paid for.

Yeah, but I can't afford the $450 I just paid much less the $1100 for a 7D. I'd love a newer camera and I'm sure the loaner 7D isn't going to help that next week, but it just isn't in the cards. I actually debated selling the MKII and 30D a few months ago before our cruise and buying a 7D. Kinda wishing I would have done that now. :(

Yes it is. I saw a MKIIn today with over 360,000 actuations on what looks like the original shutter. I need to see how many mine has, but I'd say no more than 110,000 and probably closer to 100,000. I know Canon says MTBF of 200,000, but when you have discrepancies that large it really is amazing.
