So, Zenfolio just went down for maintenance until 0400 PDT...

Everywhere I've posted images, all I see is X :(

Guess that's my cue to boogie. See you all in a couple days. Off to the western desert in the morning for some fun through Friday night!

So, Jay, Zenfolio hosts your "named" web site?

Heh! Nah, I'm not itching for a change. I have almost 7000 things on PBase, some of which are OK things, and I'd hate to think of creating a whole new whatchamacallit!

That's a lot of things to store on PBase. :)

Yeah, it just kind of happens, especially when you get one of those dang things where you end up shooting 500 shots of some event or sports or whatever, and you feel like there are300 or 400 or so to post!

Absolutely.....I would never trust a website to store my images....but it was about 7 years worth of work....I didn't fell like trying to recreate all the galleries and reloading all the images.

evening all, nice shots of the kids, Mike!

Thanks Harm!

Lookin' pretty decent so far. Clearly I need to start building a library of presets and such.

I have a huge Library of presets (develop) and never use them. I'm actually thinking of going through and deleting most of mine.

This is one reason I haven't left Pbase. The amount of work required to change is one I don't want to do. Luckily PBase keeps upping their storage amount. Up to 800MB now. Still thinking of switching to SmugMug and ditching my Sports site, it never gets used anyway.

That would really suck. I've thought about doing my own site and finding someone to do web hosting (maybe Godaddy), but having to only pay $25-$50 a year is better than the alternative.

That would be a pain to try to reorganize all those images. Shame on Pbase! :(

I think Pbase has made a much more concerted effort since that happened to try and serve their customers better. They have been more active and have raised storage amounts from 500MB to 800MB just this year alone. I'd gladly pay double for unlimited storage though (That is what Smuggy charges and their customer service is OUTSTANDING!!!).
