Morning Julian!

I think Pbase has made a much more concerted effort since that happened to try and serve their customers better. They have been more active and have raised storage amounts from 500MB to 800MB just this year alone. I'd gladly pay double for unlimited storage though (That is what Smuggy charges and their customer service is OUTSTANDING!!!).

What's their largest file limit on their pro account?

Max for photos is 24MB. Video is 1080P, 10 minutes. This is for both the Power and Pro accounts. Power is $60, Pro is $150 a year.

Not at all. The main Problem I have with Smuggy is that you only get like three levels of galleries. With Pbase, you can set up how ever many galleries and sub-galleries you want.

I think I'm going to blow up my Sports account and try to get Smuggy to work for my personal site. This way I can upload full size files and friends and family can get prints on their own. I can also upload video. I just have to find the time to get it up and running.

I've held off buying these TS lenses for a while now. I hope I can do them justice. :)

Have you've seen the fake T/S thread for some inspiration?

You know, I hear good things about the varioius places, I just never felt the real need to make the leap from PBase. Maybe I just don't have anything really motivating me to change, like a particular reason. 'Course, the trouble they had last year was a hassle, but oh well.

Heh! I'm sure they'll be a lot of fun! It's funny -- weren't they actually designed for architectural shooting? And yet, the way we seem to see them used mostly is that ultra blurry effect, not architecture...funny!

They are designed for architecture but, my intention will be for landscapes. I will be trying a bunch of things with them other than that funny blurry effect. :)
