It's summer, it's suppose to get hot.

So, why isn't it hot here? I'm in the freakin' desert, fercrissakes! It's supposed to be 100 here!

Actually, it was here already. The previous two or three weeks were a bit on the hot side. I'm just surprised at how it cooled down again when the temps should be going higher, not lower. At least my A/C gets to take a break for a few days...

nice and hot here again And i am loving it - esp after last year's crappy summer...

after work yesterday, was home and too the pool to chill out...which was nice.

We've hit the pool a few times this year already. It has been nice!

I've been in the pool quite a few times already. Water is a wonderful 86 to 92 degrees. AAAaaa...

That's too hot! Low to mid 80s is about perfect.

I'd gladly send some heat your way if I could Lonnie! Last week we had low to mid 80s and it was so nice!!! Even dipped to 59 one night!

Thanks for the offer, but you can keep it for now. I'm enjoying the respite. The heat will be back soon enough on it's own...

However it was a little cooler up here on Sat:

Looks like you had a nice day for a visit Harm....every time I've been to Mt. Washington, the dang thing has been socked in.

yeah, the last time I was there, there was too much cloud cover and you couldn't go up to the top...

this time around, not only was it clear, but we did see a wild bear too. As you can see the view from above was spectacular - although we did forget the binoculars!

Too cold. Low 80s is fine if your in for a swim, but I like to just float around and then it gets chilly. 90 is perfect, you can stay in for a long time without getting chilled.

@ Tommy: I find the older I get, the worse late-night anything is a bad idea. I've gone from cast-iron stomach to nearly cast-off stomach.

@ Lonnie: Be glad your stretch of desert is playing so nicely. Ours went from Ahhh, to GAHHHH! seemingly overnight this year. We actually had a wonderful transition from winter to spring before they stoked the furnaces. Might get our first Monsoon T-Storms this weekend! Let the photo ops begin!

@ Harm: Nice Mt Washington shots. I got the socked in version as well the one time I visited back when we had a day off during the Bristol night-race weekend. Lovely drive though. Eventually ended up in north Asheville and had to drive all the way back up to Kingsport.

@ Wool: No. No you don't. They're a pain in the a$$ and more trouble than they're worth. Even in a climate where you can use it year 'round.
