There are some at the zoo down in Columbia. Walking around the zoo and popping in on one of those sure is nice!

Ah yes, "Misters" as we call them...

They definately work provided the dew point is low enough.

That's why many homes out here in AZ still have evaporative cooling systems (aka Swamp Coolers.)
