I have a 430exII canon flash. Its bulb burnt out a year ago so I tried to fix it. I ordered the part and took the flash apart and soldered everything in. Issue is, I could never get it back together again :( I ended up just buying a 580 exII and have been using that. I have been wanting to play with two flash setup and I know I have the 530exII just sitting in a box all the pieces there, just can't get it together.

I don't really want to buy a whole new flash, as it is not in the budget. Does anybody know a place that can put this back together for me for a reasonable price? I live in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I have no idea if anyone would do it for a reasonable price (but I doubt it). However, if you post pictures of what exactly it is you're not being able to assembly we might be able to help you?

It couldn't hurt to call Camtron in Oakley:

3151 Madison Road
Cincinnati, OH 45209-1335
(513) 871-7908

They do a lot of repairs, and the guy that I deal with at Cord Camera always sends people in need of repairs to Camtron. Hopefully, they can help you.

Where did you order the flash tube from and how much did it cost ?
Putting it together is fairly simple and if nobody is able to help you let me know.
