Thinking about getting a large print made of this, but not too sure...What do you think? Yes? No? Have the print made then burn it and scatter the ashes?

I like it, but it feels titled, and I know its not, just gives that feeling of being "off".nice conversion.

Out of balance maybe? Too heavy to frame right?

Crop is too tight for my taste.

Although I occasionally recommend destroying some images for all eternity, this is well worth keeping and looks good on b/w too.

Thanks, folks. Think I'm going to try a little bit different crop on it and see if I can't balance it a bit more, then go ahead and order the print. Going large, I think. 20 x 20 (inches). Never done that before.

Hi,
You have a spot, maybe dust on the sensor, just above the apparatus in the dark part of the sky.

I'm not as good as judging BW on things rather than people but I like this a lot. Good black and white levels without being too much and a full complement of grays. I like the clouds, especially the whole lower 2/3.

The sun emblem might be good more to the right moving it into the rule of 3rds but I like how the lower left portion of the crop works. Farther back would show less detail, especially in an 8x10 (10x10?). It's all a trade-off.

XSi with grip, Sigma 18-55 f/3.5-5.6, Sigma 28-70 f/2.8, Canon 100 f/2.8 macro, old but great Canon 300 f/4 L, 430 EX II, Quantaray 900W, broken tripods, White Lightnings, many accessories--former pro film, quit, now back into it for fun

Jeff, yea, there is a dust spot there. Didn't see it when I first posted to Zenfolio. Thanks. In terms of the crop I think I'll open it up a bit on both sides and keep the sun man as close as I can to the rule. We'll see.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks, RP. A combination of that 17-40 f4L (I see you have one too), good light, and the Emboss filter in CS4 and viola, uber sharp. Don't suppose you'd want to sell those Pocket Wizards on the cheap would you? ;-)a
