Tried this combo last weekend...won't work. Makes my lens hunt like crazy, totaly unusable.
Thought some might want to know before making a purchase.

Well, this is certainly not true.

In this particular case,.. Oddly,. I used the Sigma 70-200mm with a Canon 2X a few times and had no problem ???

On the other hand.. I hate the image quality from that lens with either the Canon or the Sigma 2X.. but I thought it was foine with both brands 1.4X

    Marketroids! They would, of course, openly advocate your buying Tamron or Sigma TCs and lenses for your Canon cameras. Right after they start encouraging to get the Noink D2X for your specific needs. ;{)#

    I was asking them about a canon tc for a canon lens, i didn't mention about third party lens at all...but you are right about it too.
