I'm wanting to use my ABR800 in front of the model and a 580ex flash off camera behind the model. All I have is a RM transmitter and receiver that I use for he ABR800. Now how do I have the 580 to sync with the strobe? BTW, I am using the Canon 7D.

You could either buy an extra receiver (may need hotshoe adapter) for the 580EX, or use the receiver you have on the 580EX and set the ABR800 to fire from its built in optical slave.

+1 Or order a set of rf 602's off of ebay with two recievers. It might be around the same price as finding a second receiver for your old trigger set.

excellent idea; otherwise you need a second radio receiver with a shoemount adapter
