First time for me seeing an Osprey with 3 little ones also. This is mom only and dad never showed up the entire time i was there from 6am-11am. Mom was being bothered constantly by the Eastern Kingbird. Sometimes 2 and 3 at a time coming at her. She finally had to leave the nest and fly out farther to another tree. She would fly around and then come back to nest and then take off again. All morning this went on. Lighting conditions varied just a bit through the morning. Had me playing just a bit more with exposure and all. Fun just the same though.

First shot i took at 6:09am as sun was coming up.

Thanks......tkerr.......

They were eastern kingbirds doing the attacking. My first time up there and some other people were there that go often so i asked them what kind of bird that was......I then double checked in my books to see and it matched up.

Going back up there soon again before they fledge and all. A 100 mile trip one way and all.
