I love topaz labs! I'm guessing you went with "Dramatic" for all of these?

These are great shots except the processing is way over. I would process them all over again.

I'll have to agree. Potentially beautiful scenes made to look a little too grungy.

Although the shot under the trellis is less so because the grungy effect plays better with the great textures in the scene.

When using topaz, try making dupe layers that leave the option of adjusting opaqueness and also utilize masks that will allow selectively brushing in the effects.

The OP mentioned these images were processed with Topaz Labs. If you are not familiar with this plug-in, it will "over-process" images. That's what is does. With that said, I think the images look great with regard to using the plug-in. It's a different look.

Canon 5D MkII gripped, Canon 7D gripped, Canon 40D gripped, Canon XTI (IR) gripped, Canon 17-55 2.8 IS, Canon 60 Macro 2.8, Canon 70-200L 2.8 IS , Canon 24-105 4.0, Tokina 11-16 2.8, Canon 50mm 1.8, Sekonic L-358, Canon Speedlite 580-EX II, (2)430-EX, Pocket Wizards, lots of other stuff that seems to keep growing...

Topaz labs can overprocess images. Topaz labs' products have many control sliders that can reduce the effect and even overcook it more.

I don't think people here are commenting about a specific application or even the workflow on how it was done. I think they're commenting on what visually appears to them to be overprocessed images.

I appreciate all of the comments. I think BBVDM hit it right on the head. I prefer the "unrealistic look". But thank you again for your comments. Oh and I have sold 8 prints this month, however they look a lot different on paper.

I am using Topaz lab myself. Even without using this plugin or any other plugin, processing can be overly done. However, if that is the OP's intention, then well and good.

Number 2 would be great, if the sky wasn't pixelated and destroyed by topaz, topaz tends to murder skies.

I suck at Photoshop.
