home, sweet home

I almost never shoot in RAW, but a couple months ago I did when I was shooting around by my house. Processed in LightRoom 2.7. What do you all think? THanks and I appreciate the comments.

Re; the photo - personally I like the composition but I am not a fan of the lighting IMHO. The contrast seems a little too much. Had there been some more lighting on the snow behind the house it may improve it. For example the trees in the background seem to have lost detail. When did you take it. I think you have a ot of potential with lighting on different times of the day.

Thanks for your thoughts. The RAW file was a little washed out and I raised the black levels to get rid of that resulting in all the trees losing their detail. I couldnt find a way to keep the trees lit and remove the washed out look. Gotta go practice more in LR2.

The shot was taken March 12 at sunset. Temp was about 25*.
