$70 is so worth it. i have had it for 4 years now and i will gladly pay it every year. amazon has super competitive prices on everything and even though they guarantee 2 day shipping, i get the item next day half the time.

i dont need to finish my christmas shopping until the day before Christmas Eve! $4 to overnight something.

and be careful sharing your Prime accounts. you can share it with 4 family members living in the same household. Amazon has been known to pick up on this and cancel prime accounts.

Same here! I just get together the same co-workers and family members and we all split it. Been doing it for three years now. Prime is very cool and a must have for me now!

I've had Prime shipping for 3-4 years, don't remember which, but I love it! I buy a lot from Amazon so it's worth it.

I really think that Prime is the way to go if you do order quite a bit from Amazon. The 2 day shipping is really great and I just expect it now. If you don't order from Amazon but from a supported vendor, then the shipping is standard and that's fine. I always try and use Amazon because of the shipping.

I've heard of some people sharing the cost with friends but I have a little problem with that personally. The rules say "household member". I share it with family which they appreciate but I pay for it. I think that's better. I think if enough people abuse the rules then Amazon may drop the service and I know I would suffer for that.

I don't get it. Do we have to share a single account, or can one Prime membership be spread out over several accounts?

Replacing my Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24mm, Canon 17-55mm, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 150-500mm with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. I still have the 17-55 and the 30 available for sale.
