Seems pretty funny, and could wind up with some awkward situations/relations.

Well, least it wasn't trading chickens.

What shocks me more is she's the bride, her wedding is less than 3 months away yet the date of it is "tentative".

I feel sorry for the photographer who is going to do it, I'm sure someone will pick it up, and she will probably disappear after she as the C.D.
Or if the photographer is smart, they'll hold the C.D. hostage until all 5 wedding shoots are complete.

Don't follow through here's the price - don't follow through on all five and have 5 levels of pricing.

I'd probably do it. Especially if she looks anything like the bio pic on her website.

obviously you didnt look at her personal site. if she uses her own images as a baseline, anyone can shoot her wedding.

I'm full time (not weddings) and can guarantee you I would not hire this person as an assistant and think it'd be a waste of an established photographers time to have them as one because the knowledge base is just not there. Sorry to say, but this person does not seem to value professional photography and is only offering what pretty much anyone can do. Rare when I use an assistant but always want one that is knowledgable and ads something more than just unpacking the car. I'd have no confidence in bouncing ideas off this person, not one bit unfortunately.

Unfortunately you're right - this is just another person that puts no value on top notch photography and seems to insult those who offer it in her "bio" because they actually charge what they are worth. It's why in photography you have to heavily research your potential photographer - so you don't end up with another "I bought a camera so now I'm a professional" type person like this. Unfortunately the market is flooded with them and the people losing out is the client. One wedding, insulting other photographers, not exactly the best way to start out.

I saw the ad. She is really working for cheap !!! Close to free... Has she really shot any weddings *L*.Her work is terrible...

So you shoot her wedding and she assists you for 5. From her skill level I am sure she will show up for every 5. She will be picking your brain and you will have to coach her constantly.
