The least terns are nesting on Fire Island.

Image may have jpeg artifacts due to compression to 150kb limit.

40D, 80-200mm F.2.8L handheld. Cropped from the original. I would have removed that stick from the back, but would have been arrested for harassing a protected species. You can gather from the depth of field that this was taken from a distance.
