both look tempting. i want something very low profile, but comfortable.
i've heard that the RS-7 is not as padded, but is it noticably less comfortable?
Does the curve actually help?

What tempts me about the RS-7 is its low profile and comes with the new Fastenr-3.

I had the RS-5 before and it was just too bulky for me.

Any thoughts?

I have the RS1 and the RS7. The RS1 is just slightly narrower than the RS4 and doesn't have the zippered pouch. The RS7 is by far more comfortable and the curve makes the strap 'adhere' to the body better than the RS1. The weight of the RS7 also helps to hold it to the body more effectively as well.

Neither. If you *really* want a sling strap, look at the Luma Loops. Much better design, construction and better thought out.
