Has anyone noticed that photostitch wont work with images taken with a lens wider than about 20mm - Most large swing panos would be taken with a 10 - 15 mm lens
Also the save to VR quicktime doesnt work with quicktime v7 and the prgram is asking for version 3 or 4
It wont save to flv or swl formats which are todays standards
I also noticed in the about box the program is still signed as the year 2000
Its out of date and almost useless which is a shame as it does have some good features and is quick.
When are canon going to stop bundling this rubbish utility with modern cameras and give us something we can use

Hmmm. My version of Photostitch is 3.1.22.46, dated 2008. It came on my 50D disk.

I'm looking at the Canon download site and don't see Photostitch, though. I wonder if it's now part of ZoomBrowser. (That's the only way I can access my version, through ZB.)

Ditto on the 3.1.22.46.

The 7D came with ZB 6.4.1.11 and it uses Photostitch 3.1.22.46. Photostitch is accessed through ZB or as a standalone program through Canon utilities.

Improvement!!! The best I can get though is 3.1.20.44 which is signed Oct 2007. That came from the G9 update page. I'll log in as a EOS7D and see if i can get a newer one, Support for quicktime 7 is back anyway

edit...
but still no support for lenses under 20mm and manual overide doesnt work.

Canon should consider bundling panorama studio v2 or v1.6 as some other companies do.
