Anybody use and have an opinion on OnOne software? Specifically the PhotoTools2.5 which you can d/l free now. OnOne free (external link) They've also put PhotoFrame and presets for LR and ACR up for free. I've played around a little with the PhotoTools, but damn it slows the pc down.

They're a major player in the Photoshop plugin world.
Great plugins, but not inexpensive.

I popped for Plug-In Suite 5 after buying PhotoTune 3. When they finally made all their programs CS5 compliant, they offered a nice discount. The programs are fairly intuitive. CS is daunting to me; OnOne definitely helps.

The most useful of their programs (for me, at least) are PhotoTune and PhotoTools.

By the way, the free videos on their web site are generally quite good.

I really like FocalPoint - good to give some better bokeh on cheaper lenses, or when you can't shoot wide open and don't have an ND filter. Lots of control. Combine that with Topaz ReMask or OnOne MaskPro, and you can do some nice selective blurring.

I pretty much run every photo I take through ColorTune2.

And I found their customer service to be great!

I use Genuine Fractals frequently. Focal Point is fun to play around with and tweak some photos. I don't use PhotoTune or Phototools too often, but they work well.
