Jun 27, 2010 11:25 | #1 Went to Yosemite Thurs. to shoot the moonbow in the falls. Before the moon rose it clouded up and began to rain. Oh well--there's always next year. On the way out of the park about 11:30, I spotted climbers lights on El Cap. As I set up for the shot, the moon peaked thru the clouds and lit the base like a floodlight.

Jun 27, 2010 23:36 | #7 Thanks everyone for the comments. johny39- the light at the base was from the moon shining underneath the clouds over the south rim. avhw-- this was a 30sec exposure.
