First one is nice, but the rest a little too over processed for my tastes.

Interesting PP, but a little of that goes a long way. It does take some attention away from the usual crud in the background at shows, though. Try this when you have time:
Need to remove a background from something?

FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
Classic Carz, Racing, Air Show, Flowers.

Have you thought about making your own book? // Need an exposure crutch?

You were able to get great shots with a car that you couldn't move and a background you couldn't unclutter. Very difficult to do. I like 3, 6, and 8 best.

Thanks, This is more processing that I typically do. I am happy with the final results although they took some looking at before I liked them..

Thanks for the comment and the link, I am going to try that out when I have some time.

gorgeous car!

The Mustangs are my favorite classics. I hope to get one as a project car and build it one day

These photos have a lot of cloning going on them. This was my first time shooting cars at a show like this. I have a lot more respect for the guys and gals that do it now.Reflections and spacing are very hard to deal with in most situations.

I really like these two. The first one because it's well stylized, aggressive, and the cross processing suits it well. The second because it looks like it could be a capture of a low quality/low contrast video tape system of 1968. It looks like it could have been from the local nightly news show of when the car was new. (That is a '68, isn't it?) In other words, the processing matches the subject with nothing in the shot that it clearly anachronistic.

Well done.

Rad
