Just got back from a weekend in North Norfolk here in the UK and decided to shoot a couple of HDRs as I had to shoot into the light on both of them.

Both are 3 shot HDRs bracketed at -2, 0 and +2EV, merged in Photomatix then tweaked in Elements 8.

1. Wells Harbour at low tide

2. Thornham Creek at dusk

I try to keep my HDRs as natural looking as possible.

What do you think?

Like the others, number 2 is fantastic.
The 1st has way too much foreground (does not lend itself to profile).

Thanks a lot guys!

I did shoot #1 in landscape alignment too, but preferred the portrait shot due to the reflections:

With the new orientation....Holy Smokes - talk about diamond in the rough - WOW
Now they are both super.
Might be a tad light (levels adjustment) and some defog (local contrast adjustment) but is still a winner as is....I hope you see the difference.

Nicely done! #2 is excellent and the landscape of the sail boat works much better.

My favorite is number one.

I can just see the tourists: "ah, no wonder they only charged us 20 dollars to rent the boat for the next three hours."

Thank you. bw!
