Good shots. That looks like Midnight Blue paint, which wasn't used very much, but looks great on one of the guy's '66 Charger.

The 383 was underrated IMO. I bought a '69 Cuda "way back when" 'cause I saw the prototype '70 in a car shoot for Chrysler & thought the '69 had more character. All that room in back was great for carrying parts & the 383 made it a great tow car, too. It was the fastback "S" & I suspect that I was still in heat from when I saw a Maserati 450 that was the same body style.
It rusted out from under me at 187,000 miles, but I sure wish I'd kept it now! It was listed at 3,050 pounds & would do an honest 141mph right out of the showroom!
