Since the "upgrade" (and I use that term loosely) in flickr, you can no longer grab bbcode and use flickr to host a photo and post it here. Is there a work around for this? Or do I have to repost my pic to photobucket in order to be able to show it here? Now in flickr I can only grab html, or a link. It sucks, and I'm not happy.

yes you still can...

choose the picture, right click on the picture itself - pick the size you want... when it opens right click again on the picture then choose "copy image URL"
then use that URL to post here

then voila:

Tried it - but when I right click there is no option called "copy image url". There is just the usual - save picture as, copy, set as desktop background, etc.

I finally got it to work - I was right clicking on the image itself and not on the link... Thanks!! (But I'm still pissed at flickr making it harder to post my photos...)

Is it my imagination or is the 'more info' link for the EXIF data no longer available on the new layout?

Click share button, then grab URL..choose size, then within that you can copy from the http part to the end of .jpg and paste with usual [IMG] tags.

Example

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamesduncanphotography/4739149747/" title="Untitled by James Duncan1D, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4101/4739149747_89d56d3169_b.jpg" width="847" height="1024" alt=""></a>

You would select with the tags http://farm5.static.flickr.com …39149747_89d56d3169_b.jpg (external link)

Yeah, just had to figure this one out too.
Using Firefox, while on the photo page, click on "Actions" then on "View All Sizes". Go to the size you want and right click on the image itself. Choose "Copy Image Location".
That'll give you the URL needed to post here.
