I dunno if I can do this, but I'm gonna try. I have a friend that owns a machine shop and is planning to build a new and larger building where his existing shop is. (He's been in business 40 years, so this is a big step for him -- he's not used to doing new things. .) He and I were out driving the other day and we passed a building not far from where I live and he said, "That's it! That's what I want. A building about that size and exactly that configuration. I wonder how it would look on my property."

So I took a few pictures of the building and would like to show him a picture of what it would look like with his name and address on it. If anyone is willing to make a few small PhotoShop mods to this image and post them back up, I'd appreciate it. For a PS guru, I don't think the mods are but a few minutes of work.

The photo and the link to the larger photo are below. His place doesn't have the big tree in front, but I'm not too concerned with that. The two things that I'd like done are:

1) The address on the building needs to be removed.

2) The shingle needs to be cleared of the information in it as it exists and replaced with his business name "Rea Machine Shop" with his address, "212 Spencer Highway" in smaller text and placed underneath his business name. Any font style is okay, but it has to look pretty good (e.g. better than what I can do in Gimp, and I suck in Gimp!).

If someone would be so kind to attempt this, I'd be much appreciative!

quickie.

Looks awesome! (But it still has the address on the building. I can clean that up in Gimp, probably, though.) I have no idea how to slant text. Drives me nuts.

Thanks much!

Racer 997:
To slang the text, I use a simple trick on PS
Draw a rectangle, write the text and transform...

I have no idea how to slant text.

Easiest would be to type on a new layer and use transform.

Awesome work, kirkt and obkcaptain! And thanks mucho for all the advice, all!

I emailed my friend the picture and he said, "Man, that is nice! Now all I have to do is build it and pay for it! But for now I can show my architect and get things rolling."
