Currently i Use a top mounted lowepro 75 when i bring my camera, problem is i can only fit one mounted in it aside from other essentials (flash filters etc).
It's very handy but frankly sucks if i want to go someplace over the day to take pictures then I'm bound to the lens i bring which is ok normally but not when you spend the day photographing.

I'm looking for a bag that can keep my general lineup 10-20mm + 70-200 sigma and 17-55 Canon aside from my 580EXII and batteries filters memory cards etc.
It should also be easy to bring around and take up little space so that I can bring it in cars busses boats & trains etc easily.

It's main purpose isn't to be a do it all thing I've already realized I'll probably end up with more rucksacks/bags then lenses someday.

Anyone have any tips to sharE?

The Domke F-3x should be able to swallow that gear with no problems. If you want a little bigger, check out the F-2. Excellent build quality, looks, and just the right amount of padding = well worth the price.

Crumpler 7 Million would fit that and more quite nicely.

I have a similar gear set-up and have several bags as well.

The 7 million $ home fits all that, however can be tiresome to carry ALL day. Its a great bag, but gets heavy with all that gear. Even with the generous shoulder pad provided it starts to weigh on your shoulder. My 2 cents, even though this bag CAN hold all that gear, for a long day of walking and shooting you would be better off with a pack that disperses the weight better, IE; backpack. Don't get me wrong, I love the 7 million and am not going to sell it, but if I will be walking a lot or hiking, this is not the bag you want.

I also have a LowePro FastPack 350. Holds a 17" laptop and all my gear, although the 70-200 HAS to be mounted for it all to fit. This is a comfy pack and evenly spreads the weight across your shoulders and has a chest strap to help out as well. Not very discreet and bulky, but it you are going to be hiking/walking all day, this is what I will use. Not as convenient to swap lenses, filters, etc...but again, each has their strong points. I use this bag to stow all my gear when not in use, although I am quickly adding to my arsenal that I may need to upgrade soon!

Hope this helps. If you need any pictures or other questions answered ask away!

Two very comfortable bags come to mind that will hold all of your gear and some.
Lowepro Flipside 400.
All Weather Cover, Backpack style with security with flipside approach.
Tamrac Evolution 8.
Both backpack and sling design. Easy access. Weather cover included.
I carry my 7D with 10-22, 17-55, 24-105 and 70-200 f/4 with hoods, 580 EXII and other accessories in both bags listed above.
Another choice is the Fastpack 350.
Bucketman description above sums it up well.
I just wish Lowepro included the AW cover with it.
I have all three and are comfy all day long.

Canon 5D Mark III (x2), BG-E11 Grips, Canon Lenses 16-35 f/4 L IS, 17-40 f/4 L, 24-70 f/4 L IS, 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II, 70-200 f/4 L IS, 70-200 f/4 L IS Version II, 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS Version II, TS-E 24 f/3.5 L II, 100 f/2.8 L Macro IS, 10-22 f3.5-4.5, 17-55 f/2.8 L IS, 85 f/1.8, Canon 1.4 Extender III, 5 Canon 600 EX-RT, 2 Canon ST-E3 Transmitters, Canon PRO-300 Printer

The F3x might be a tad snug; IIRC all three of those lenses are fairly hefty so you'd probably need to keep at least one of them in an outside pocket. I'd maybe look at the F4AF or the F2. The F4 doesn't strike me as much different in overall dimensions, just differently arranged, which will give you more room for your lenses in the main compartment.

Good call on the all weather fly. I purchased a Dakine LG rain cover and it covers the entire bag well. Another good consideration when looking for a bag.
