How do I get a shot from...

I have a friend that is just completing his Cobra replica build and I owe him a few favors... ( he's helped me with some heavy maintenance on my vehicles)

I suggested that we put together a shoot once the car is complete. Maybe we can even get something that would be worthy of a poster for his garage/office. He loved the idea and asked if we could get the top-down shot to help show off the curves on the car. This seems like a great idea but I am struggling with how I will get that far directly above the car... any ideas?

Ladder?

Staging? Two ladders and some boards going across. Foot bridge over a roadway? Parking garage ramp?

I think I will try to find an overpass with little traffic... no, I don't have it figured out yet... still looking for a great idea.... I am afraid that with a ladder I won't be able to get squarely above it... and with a platform of any sort that it would be in the shot...
