I've got a pristine copy of a Magic Drainpipe, with tripod collar and hard case. The body is almost perfect, and the glass is perfect. I'd like to have something else though. Would trading this lens for a 300 mm f4 IS be a wise choice? Or should I keep this lens cause they're so hard to fine in good shape anymore? I mostly shoot outdoors, portraits, landscape and some sports. My other lens is a Canon 24-70 2.8. Does anyone have a 300mm that could give me advice? Thanks for your help. :)

I would say if those are your only 2 lenses, you're in pretty good shape at the moment. What body are you using?

I wouldn't. You have the range of 24-200 covered by 2 excellent, fast, lenses.

I agree. Although with your 1.3x crop factor, you may still want something a little wider for landscapes. But from what I see, you're golden.
