haha yup it was his bday party.

Two parties this weekend:

A friend from high school's 21st birthday party (for the 14th time). We had a party bus and trolled around DC. Reflective ceiling made it difficult to get the flash from over/underexposing. Bumps in the road made it difficult to keep focus... definitely a trial in patience...

Week of St Patty's I ended up shooting 3 shows in a row. The St Patty's was my personal fave, can't go wrong with Netsky (my personal fave DNB producer)

I'm shooting Netsky again this friday, always a pleasure to see him play

Im so jealous of some of you guys, I just purchased a 35L and the lighting is horrid in 95% of the venues I shoot in, I can't even shoot available light with it. =\

damn nice on that lens!

but you're right, its not gonna help you if there isn't any lighting.

I was dreaming about opening my own club the other day - just so I could make sure the DJ box had decent lighting in it!

Picked up a 30mm f1.4 last month - sexy little lens, wish I had the cash for the 35L.

I agree! Better lighting on the DJ's please! The 35L was hella pricey, took me a year to save up for it. I have a bigger show tomorrow night in a better lighted club so Im hoping I get the chance to use it more, last time I was there I was able to get perfect exposure with my 17-40 at 40mm at f/4 so Im sure the 1.4 will shine.

What is everyone shooting this weekend? Ed Rush & Optical tonight and BRODINSKI, DOORLY, DROP THE LIME, BENNY PAGE, NASTY NASTY (sry, copy paste. lol)
