Regrettably, I have nothing to shoot.... I'll be working my day job all weekend. Currently looking for a local band that I can shoot while jamming out or something.

Wow...been awhile since i've been in here. Great photos everyone. Good to see some improve, and some take it to a whole other level.
I stopped shooting nightlife around Nov., Moved up to Portland, Oregon but thinking about getting into it again up here, once in awhile. Moving more towards video though.

Ya, Doorly is tonight, I'll check out what it says.

Ed Rush & Optical crushed Calgary last night. Such an epic set, not to mention they played jams the 18 yr olds in the club were confused about. Big up the junglist massif! haha

Great eyes in this one. Good decisions on how much ambient in all images, i think that's what makes them.

I like making photos and sometimes I think I'm getting better... then I realise it doesn't matter. I like making photos!

I actually went out last night! April is looking like a good month talent-wise, I will be going to several events. And, I'll take my camera because security treats me better when I do (I don't have to explain anything).

have you tried light trails effect? you can do a lot with even the lights on the mixer. here is a shot from yesterday without any light trail effects, look at how boring it is. what I mean is, if you dont have the lighting there to make your shots movement, you can try adding it yourself!

Shot Netsky and Murdock yesterday, heavy set! It's a shame he's a quite static DJ, you have to be exactly on time when he decides to smile..

I wish the place I was shooting at actually had some sort of ambient lighting. The lights are so low on two of the levels that I can't see what I'm focusing on through the viewfinder when I'm composing a shot.

SC, I'm really diggin' your shots. I'll be working on getting my Ambient photos on point on my next event shoot. I will be sure to post them here. I'm about to hit the sack but next time I'm on I'll put some older photos up.
