Does anyone have any tips for moving through a crowd, flood with ambient light, and attempting to use light trails at half a second shutter, obviously with second shutter curtain on the external.
Is it a feat impossible in practice? I find that ghosting is inevitable. I'm working with a FEC of +2/3. I'm thinking I should move it up to +1 and hold the flash a little behind my head. That way hopefully the second flash will force my subjects above the ambient.
This right? I've been working about a month and a half now at a weekend job, fri and saturday. New to the game and all so I've been experimenting excessively. Love it though.
