Can you please post the settings you sued and how you did your lighting?

Most of us leave our exif data intact if you want to check settings. They vary wildy depending on the amount and postion of the lights in the club. My general settings are:
ISO 400-3200
shutter 1/250-1sec
apature 1.4-5.6

Canon EOS 50D ¦ Tokina 11-16 f2.8 ¦ Sigma 30mm f1.4 ¦ Canon 50mm f1.8 ¦ 580ex II ¦ 430ex II

Good stuff everyone! If that was aimed at me Ashley, the exif should still be intact...

Here's some from Mission last night:

[QUOTE=Brandsanity;14318242]Shot at Mint Club for the first time last night... It has this huge light panel that covers the entire ceiling! Was great fun but also a nightmare at times.

Tried using off camera flash the other day (using a ttl cord) but had some issues and was wondering what some of you guys that use OCF do?
-autofocus was really hard/took a long time (i just held the flash above the camera until it focused then repositioned it)
-sometimes ettl worked well sometimes it came out really overexposed
-sometimes the flash wouldn't even fire on the cord, but it would if it was attached to the hot shoe directly (i dont know if this was because the batteries might have been almost dead)

I haven't posted anything decent here for awhile. Most likely because I have not shot anything that interesting.

But this Friday was good! Did a 24hr party boat cruise.

I figure I would share my shots here:

All converted to BW and grain added.

For the detail oriented folk, shot at iso200, BW via Nik.

SpiceSack:

- That's why I use two flashes. I always had trouble trying to focus with one flash off camera. I could never get the AF Assist beam to hit the subject. Two flashes solve this problem.

- Dont know about exposure. Could be a multitude of answers there.

- Also had this problem. It was a faulty sync cable. It wasnt connecting securely to the hotshoe.

-thats what I was thinking too. Just don't have the money at the moment, but I guess it's something that I'll get once I can...love the way photo's can turn out with it.

-I really don't know what the issue was there, annoyed me at times.

-Wow, thats great...considering I just bought mine. Guess I should buy new next time instead of a used one.

Thanks man!

Nice capture!! What kind of TTL cord do you have? I used to have an off brand one that I got from Ebay and it never gave me any problems. Just make sure that the contacts are clean on both ends.
