Unfortunately, since it is such a fast paced environment, I do not have the time to experiment with my settings in detail. manual flash based on distance, underexpose the ambient light about 1 stop (normally its tugnsten), gel flash by 1/4 cto at a time if needed, and make sure you are vocal and make sure you think about your shots ahead of time. But sometimes i bounce it to the side of me, all depends on the situation

Apr 21, 2013 05:23 | #4394 No problem. Well looks like you nailed it first go to be honest! If you feel you can not get more ambient in, just keep adding to your shutter till its about a stop under exposed. I vary depending on situation between 1/40 and 1/2 of a second for the "normal" shots. Just depends where I am facing in the bar essentially. Yeah the 430ex ii is a beauty, consider maybe an off shoe cord on your next trip? #jcovellphoto

) shooting with the 430ex( before I was shooting with the built in flash, god awful! ) C&C certainly welcomed! I want all the information I can take! These were all taken with the kit 18-55 and minimal post processing (some clarity / NR)
