yeah a little bit to make it look realistic. These damn camera these days are so good that, a person like myself whom shot film back in the day, makes us second guess the feel of the image without a sense of grain.

is anyone going to be shooting EDC this year ?? how can you get a pass to shoot there? :( I want to shoot so bad! I will feel naked without the camera lol I meet so many more people with my camera, ugh.. makes going out so much more fun

what focal length do you guys generally shoot on? This would be for a crop sensor, I am looking at either getting a 17-40 F4L which I found for 530$ or a tamron 10-24 for 280$ obo? I do think I would have some fun with the 10-24, but my plans for upgrading to full frame will probably happen sooner than later as long as my funds are available. Any advice you guys can offer? I am shooting a 18-55 right now(but its not mine so I need my own lens for this field of work). My friend that I shoot with has a 10-24 and I have been impressed with his work, but I know I want to upgrade to full frame before the end of the year(by the latest, a full frame christmas :P) What do you guys think? I would love to add more L to my collection, but thats obviously not the end of the world.

now its between 10-22 canon and 17-40L both 500$

Christmas is quite a while away - so I would maybe recommend buying what will do best for you now, and then selling and buying for full frame at Christmas!
