Please do not upload any photos over 1024px on their max width. It screws with the page!

I hope I dont sound like a prick when I say this but with your 7D and 6D...you have amazing ISO potential...get it up to ISO3200-5000 and let some ambient in there! Itll soften everything up and youll have that more natural look if that is what your aiming for (I am assuming with you buying diffusers and such).

I usually shoot at ISO 1600. I´ll try 3200 next time. The club was awfully dark sadly, i´ve shot at clubs with way better lighting.

Is there any sticky topic or poll what lenses you mostly use for nightclub photography?

I use a Sigma 15 2.8 fisheye / Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC (and brind my 35 1.4 for lowlight videorecording as f2.8 is even too dark).

Don't know why, but I would miss my fisheye if I wouldn't have it with me, it just gives that extra partytouch, light to carry, ... etc,...

What are your lenses most used at clubphotography ?

i still new to nightclub photography... recently went to a club to do some xperiment...
the problem is my flash like keep flashing before snap a photos.. is my setting problem ??

im using canon 500d , 17-50mm f2.8 tamron, flashgun 320 ex , manual 1/50 f/5.6 iso800

Maybe red-eye reduction... usually red-eye reduction fires a flash to close the pupils, then flashes again to take the shot... really screws up a photo when you have a family gathering, and they react to the first flash

It will just be your ETTL pre-flash.

Look up about how ETTL works and you will see .

I use a Canon 430ex II flash. I got it for pretty cheap on Ebay and it came with a bunch of extras, like an off shoe flash cord and a Sto-Fen diffuser AND rechargeable batteries. Works pretty well for me

At jhonny010, Going to bump up the ISO a lil tonight on the 6d and see how they turn out, Been trying it out recently when shooting without flash but yet to experiment with it with flash on, I do love the way the ambient lighting comes out in yourphotos tho, Can i ask what lighting modifiers you are using if any? Ive been using the fong dong but starting to think that just bounce card and pointing up might give better results.

The 7D has horrendous ISO performance. I find it pretty much unusable without heavy post-processing above ISO800.

A 6D though.. I hear you can use up to ISO 6400 without much hesitation. Get that jacked up to 3200 at least on that bad boy!
