The 580 has a strobe feature so you can make it do it with a long exposure.
Anyone happen to have the hook up in Austin, Tx? I am moving there in a little over a week and am going to need to get some work for myself..

Only did it once, cause my flashed bugged out and did a "strobe" effect lol it can be done using front/rear curtain with long exposure, when combined with the clubs strobes - easier with stoboscopic function on the 580 tho 50D / digital rebel Xti / kit lens

He shoots long exposure with two flashes, as for glass its pretty basic not sure exactly what lens it was but I think its relatively inexpensive. for post its capture one for a raw converter, then desaturated and CP in photoshop nothing really to out there just ALOT of tallent. I think I saw him talking about his style somewhere on a flickr forum, if you google it, it should pop up. Shea Flynn
