The 580 has a strobe feature so you can make it do it with a long exposure.

Anyone happen to have the hook up in Austin, Tx? I am moving there in a little over a week and am going to need to get some work for myself..

Hey....does anyone have any good tips on taking crowd pics in a venue?

I'm trying to get some published in a local magazine and want them to turn out like the ones above?

I dont think your able to do it off ONE flash, unless it has a "strobe feature"
Most of the flashes i tried with, when i tried to "manually" push the flash to trigger...it wouldn't allow me to because the camera/flash was already in process of taking a picture.
Only did it once, cause my flashed bugged out and did a "strobe" effect lol

it can be done using front/rear curtain with long exposure, when combined with the clubs strobes - easier with stoboscopic function on the 580 tho

Nikola's actually a friend of mine, his work is ALWAYS inspiring to look at. He shoots long exposure with two flashes, as for glass its pretty basic not sure exactly what lens it was but I think its relatively inexpensive. for post its capture one for a raw converter, then desaturated and CP in photoshop nothing really to out there just ALOT of tallent. I think I saw him talking about his style somewhere on a flickr forum, if you google it, it should pop up.

If you happen to be in a plane crash over water, you better hope she's in the plane too just to stay afloat.
