Psychodweep, there is a candidness about your pictures that I find wonderful. #4 is pure win.

Are your subjects aware that you're photographing them?

Is that the Canon 50 f/1.4, by the way?

The long shots are with the Sigma 85mm 1.4 mostly @ f2.0.
The DJ shot is with a fisheye (cropped).
The wide shots are with an 35L (@F2.0).
Most times they don't know it that I'm shooting them, sometimes they do, but they just do their thing and I do mine. They won't stop dancing and pose.
It's a kind of club where people don't often ask to be photographed, because they know posing pictures is not done there.

Yes, except for the DJ shot.
I use 1/8 CTO gel, I bounce, for the horizontal pictures I use a bouncecard (as fill).
Most settings are like 1/10-1/20 ISO800-1250, F2.0
Not so much PP: basis stuf like contrast +40, clarity +2 vibrance +2 saturation +2, some exposure and fill if needed. Just very basic.
Flash TTL +2/3

hey stu, I know this guy, he uses bare flash bounced (on camera), sometimes with the built in bounce card. stupidly over processed in LR/PS
