The 70-200 f/4 L IS works nicely with the 1.4x TC.
f/5.6 throughout and about a 100-280 focal range.
I bought one last fall and it has come in handy.
A good investment.

This was my first lens purchase. Still amazed at how sharp it is. Handles the extender very well also. Enjoy.

I'm trying to decide on that lens or the 2.8 Sigma since I cant afford the Canon 2.8L. I'd mainly use it for shooting cars and it seems that shooting at 2.8 it's too tiny of a spot where it's in focus....IE I would be using F4 anyway. Hmmmmm
