What I meant too long is 135 is too narrow for T1i. 135mm in crop sensor (T1i) equivalent to 216mm. Hope I explained well.

Apr 07, 2011 15:18 | #362 You could consider the 85/1.8. It will have a 136mm effective FL, 1.8 effective aperture (~50% faster than the 135L), AF is just a hair slower. You should expect the DoF to be greater than the 135L on a full-frame camera, but it's still pretty good.

It's perfect on the FF. It's a matter of personal preference and really depends on your shooting style and subjects. It may work just fine for one person on a 1.3 crop and not at all for another.
