I hate to say it, but this images doesn't do anything for me. The reflection from the glass is very distracting. I do like that you attempted to frame the image with your window, but the subjects in the car behind you are hard to make out.

Was there something in particular that you wanted a comment on?

No, just comment. That was fine. What I'm interested in is how the image feels, and what it makes you feel.

It doesn't make me feel much. There is nothing that draws the attention of my eyes in this photo.

Interesting idea but ultimately far too confusing. There is an surreal image just above the yellow board where it looks like an ape is turning a steering wheel. Sadly that was my only highlight and apologies if anyone on here is the person in question.

That's cool. I'm confident I got what I wanted, the shot is exactly right. I feel the same way about it everyone else does.

It's an exercise in dissonance. It's like a tangle of light. I'm not worried that it is or isn't successful, it's the feedback I need. If you're indifferent to it, I need to know. Just because I got the shot exactly the way I want it doesn't mean it works. It could just mean I'm wrong.

I am glad you are happy with it, I have a few of these and it's happened because I accidentally pressed the shutter button by mistake? I am not seeing what you are, then again, its your piece;)

It's hard to describe. I didn't press the button by mistake, I saw the image the first time around, and I rode around the tracks a second time to get the shot.

It's easier to make "feel good" shots than it is to make good "feel bad" shots. I'm not saying this is a good shot, but it is what I was trying to get. If it's unsuccessful, I'm OK with that, I'll just try to take a better photograph the next time I try one.

I appreciate all the negative comments. I've gotten some fantastic feedback here, on this and other shots, and I trust what I get. The criticism needs to be truthful, I can take it. If my entire concept is wrong, and all bad photos are just bad photos, then so be it. But if I didn't put it out there, I wouldn't know.

I don't feel any particular emotion from the photo.

However,

I do see the complexity of spatial qualities via reflections, light and dark, perspective, and repetition.

I almost want to slap a big gold #5 in the middle of the photo (external link).

Take a look at works by Charles Demuth. There's something about your photo that reminds me of some of his works.

Regarding the figure #5, it's based on a poem of a red fire engine with the gold #5 insignia blazing through the cityscape with blinding lights and ear-splitting clang.

If it's in focus, it's pornography, if it's out of focus, it's art.
