Hi All!

Thanks for reading. This is a n00b question . . . .

I just received my Lee foundation kit with the 77mm WA adapter, and will be using it with a 17-40L.

My question is :

If I want to maintain weather sealing (ie filter is required) what is the correct order to attach the UV filter and WA Adapter?

Should I have:
-> 17-40 - UV Filter - WA Adapter
or
-> 17-40 - WA Adapter - UV Filter

Sorry if this has been answered before (I did search!). Thanks in advance!

Either way you decide to stack them it will be too thick. You will get heavy vignetting on anything lower then 25mm. Don't worry about weather sealing using the UV filter and just use the WA adapter by itself.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Look at it this way - are you really going to need an ND filter when you need weather sealing? Highly unlikely, so just go with one or the other.
