As most of my work seems to be portrait based I've taken to studying people's eyes in photographs closely as these, to me, are what portray the most emotion in the image.

I just thought I'd share a few of my favourites, just cropped and resized a little to match up with each other, nothing more than a 5% resize in any of them.

Feel free to share your own, or to comment on these :)

Be curious to see which people like the most!

Hmmm.........interesting...........close-up of eyes ususally will have more impact when you see catchlights............Of these shots........I like the 2nd one best (It's more abstract).

What do you mean catchlights sorry?

Think the second pair were done with the 50mm f1.8 as memory serves (just looking at the original now)

The larger the light i.e brolly flash the larger the catchlight ,also closer makes it biger.

Actually that brings an interesting point, I'd just be interested for people to take guesses on the approximate age of each of the models.

Only approximate of course. Just a test to see how people's observation skills are. Don't worry about looking daft, some do look extremely different to what they are.

Just label it in a format of
#1 - X years
#2 - X Years

Gonna take a stab at their ages rno4youth? ;)

It's not so much a series as it is just crops from my regular portrait work. I just figured it'd make a light hearted thread.
