A couple from the marsh last week. (I wish I wouldn't have cut the coot's feet off :( )

Nice color & detail... the blacks are exceptional on the Coot and an interesting pose & close up of the RWBB... such a pretty bird.

Nice shots. I have a growing number of Red Wings, both male and females visiting my seed tables. They are quite tame and some of the birds that have been coming for 3 or 4 years will even chirp back to me when I talk to them. They will allow me within 10 feet, but closer than that, instinct will make them hop into the Lilac Bush, but they still won't fly away, just look at me from inside it.

Never seen anything like it and Red Wings are the last bird I ever expected to be your usual backyard visitor. Kind of nice, but still a little weird too. :)
