Tokina 100mm 2.8?

i bought this lens a couple of months ago. was wondering what you all though about it or if anyone else here has one. thanks for your info

ONly heard from a few users that like most macro lenses from major manufacturers, it is very sharp.

I am not sure what you are asking....for a review of lens that you already have? Are you unhappy with it? Photozone.de was pretty nice to the lens (http://www.photozone.d​e …macro-review--test-report) and as far as i understood from all the reviews of a large number of macro lenses that I have read...they are all great optically. There are small issues which may make one lens a better choice than another for a specific individual...e.g. your lens has a recessed element and extends on 1:1 as much/further than/less than....X
What do you think about your own lens? like it? hate it? love it?

thank you for the info. i was just wondering how it adds up to other macro lenses. i bought it before i really started getting into macro. i do like it, dont get me wrong, i just didnt know if i should have gone with a different brand. and i was just wanting to get other peoples opinions if they had it too since it is the only macro lens i have owned.

haha.. i guess it would be nice if we can get a version of the story from your point of view in regards to the 100 2.8. =P
